We live in Gagnago, a small hamlet of the village Borgo Ticino in the province of Novara near Lake Maggiore.

In family we are four: Monia, Mario, little Vittorio and "Gigante dei Cesari" (our nice Caucasus's dog).

My husband and me bought a part of the "Cascina dei Cesari" in 2002 and we restructured our home choosing the typical and local materials and taking care of details. We tried to use all old building materials and old things: also today we look for typical materials or other things in flea markets or in old material dealers. Our starting point was choosing the right materials and colours. The floors are in handmade "cotto" (red, rose and yellow one) at the ground floor, in old wood at the first floor: we also tried to keep the old wood ceilings and the external country typical details.

The country home has a garden of about 2000sq m: a part is dedicated to flowers and threes (we take care of them with a lot of work), a part is an orchard and a small one is use for vegetable garden and for our courtyard animals

The B&B has two rooms at the first floor and the breakfast room at the ground floor of the cascina.

The two rooms named “Saul Room” and “Galestro Room” have a double bed, a single bed and a reserved bathroom ensuite for each ones (top quality furnishing, TV, radio on request, hairdryer, etc.)

Reservation by telephone, by fax or e-mail. At confirmation it's request a postal order or bill exchange of the 50%. Credit cards or cash cards not accepted at home.

We are 9km far from Arona, 25/30km from the Lake Orta, 60km from Milan, 110km from Turin, 10/15km from the Malpensa airport and in an hour we can reach Ossola Valleys, Sesia Valley, the Monferrato countryside, Genoa and much more.

To reach us, you have to exit at the tool booth "Castelletto Ticino- Borgo Ticno" of the A8 Milano-Laghi highway. Then, go on in the direction of Novara for about 4km. After the Tamoil petrol pump in Borgo Ticino, go on and turn right in the direction of Divignano-Agrate Conturbia (there are signs of Golf Club Castel Conturbia and Torbiera Park), go on again and at the first street on your right turn in the direction of Agrate Conturbia and go on for about 1km. Then, on your right you will find the road sign "Frazione Gagnago", turn right and go on for about 400m. After crossing a narrow, turn left at the first street in "via dei Cesari". Go on for about 300m: you will see a red country home with a "horse" on the roof. You have arrived at destination.Our country home is 9 kms to the Lake Maggiore and there are a lot of things to see and to do.

the Ossola Valleys (Val Vigezzo, Val Formazza, Val Loana, and the Parco della ValGrande)
the Sesia Valley (Alagna, Carcoforo, Varallo Sesia and the Sacro Monte, ecc.)
the Monferrato countryside
Milan, Turin, etc.

You can walk, ride a bicycle in the woods near our home and also go ride. There is an horse riding school at few kilometres. Here you can take horse riding lessons for expert riders or young ones, pony lessons for young people and ride to the Parco dei Lagoni, Parco del Bosco Solivo or in the woods near the school. In the school there are FISE Instructors.

In Borgo Ticino, there is also a GOKART ring and, for golf lovers, there are also the international famous Golf Club CastelConturbia in Agrate Conturbia and Golf Bogogno, a few km far from our home.

For shopping's lovers, you can reach the outlet of Vicolungo and of Serravalle Scrivia.
